William M. Reynolds, III "Bill"

William M. Reynolds III is a Partner in the law firm. Bill graduated from The Citadel in 1976 and upon graduation, he accepted a commission in the United States Air Force. He served for 20 years as an F-15 fighter pilot while attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After retirement from the Air Force in 1997 he enrolled at the University of South Carolina School and attained the degree of Juris Doctor in the spring of 2000.

In his practice of Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Bill assists clients, in conjunction with other professional advisors, by developing estate plans tailored specifically to their needs taking into consideration the nature of assets, family dynamics, estate, gift and income tax ramifications and generation skipping issues. Bill also works with families, Personal Representatives to help them navigate their way through the complicated and often difficult issues involved with Probate and trust administration after a family member’s death.

Bill is Certified by the Supreme Court of South Carolina as Specialist in Estate Planning & Probate Law. He was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a nonprofit organization comprised of nation's premier trust and estate counselors.

Bill is originally from Sumter, South Carolina, and is married to the former Catherine Wells of Columbia, South Carolina. They have three children and two grandchildren.
